Dr. Abeer Bashir Sweilem Al-Dababneh
Doctorate in Gender Studies from a Legislative Perspective, University of Leicester, Britain, 2002/2006. Master of Laws, University of Jordan, Jordan, 1997/2000, Bachelor of Laws. University of Jordan, 1993/1997.
She worked as an academic professor at the University of Jordan and his legal expertise as a lawyer. Dababneh held the position of Government Coordinator for Human Rights/Prime Minister's Office, Director of the Center for Women's Studies/University of Jordan, and served as a member of the Special Committee (SC) for auditing and announcing the results of the parliamentary elections in Jordan for the year 2016 / the Independent Election Commission. She has received many awards and shields and has published many types of research, books, and reports as the origins of legislative drafting from a gender perspective, confronting gender-based violence in universities, and the factors of attraction and expulsion for women's economic participation in the tourism sector.
She has many international and regional experiences, including Consultant in the Economic Empowerment Program for Women in the Middle East and North Africa (EconoWin), the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), and presented several reports of the National Centre for Human Rights related to civil and political rights, and the report on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women before the relevant committees of the United Nations.
