The Independent Election Commission operates in accordance with its Law No. (11) of 2012, and the amendments made to it under the amending Law No. (46) of 2015, where the law defines the basic definitions of the Commission’s work, the Commission’s responsibilities, the mechanisms for forming, the tasks and responsibilities of the Board of Commissioners and the General Secretariat, in addition to a number of clauses regulating the Commission’s work.
