The Independent Election Council meets the candidate blocs of the Amman Chamber of Commerce

In light of the Independent Election Commission's preparations for the 2022 elections of chambers of commerce and representatives of commercial sectors, the Commission held a series of meetings with candidates for the Amman Chamber of Commerce with the aim of informing them of the procedures governing the electoral process on polling day.
According to the Director of Electoral Operations at the Commission, Nasser Habashneh, it was agreed that two delegates for the one candidate bloc would be inside the polling and counting room, given the number of candidates and the capacity of the polling room,taking into account the observations received from the previous elections, and not allowing the bloc delegate and the sector's candidate delegate to move between the polling and counting rooms.
Habashneh indicated that in order to facilitate the voter to reach the polling and counting room, and to avoid overcrowding, the Sports City Authority has adopted a place to hold the elections and allocated within the city four sites for the distribution of sectors, so that two sites have been allocated for the delivery of electoral cards (the Arena Hall and the front yard of the Great Amman Hall) and three polling sites (Sports Palace, Amman Great Hall and Hill Hall). Oman), and it was stressed that supporters are not allowed to accompany the voter or be present in the front yards of the card delivery sites and inside the polling rooms, and to coordinate with the blocs so that the squares in front of the martyr's memorial are a place for supporters to gather.
